テンセントがFuncomの発行株式の29％を取得し，同社の筆頭株主に

　中国の大手IT企業テンセント（Tencent）が，Funcomの発行株式の29％を取得する株式売買契約を締結し同社の筆頭株主となったことが，Funcomより本日（2019年9月30日）発表された。

　Funcomは，近作となる「Conan Exiles」のほか，「Anarchy Online」や「Age of Conan」，「The Secret World」など，10年以上におよび多くのオンラインゲームを開発および運営を行ってきたノルウェーのゲームメーカーだ。2017年と2018年には，同社の歴史上もっとも高い売り上げを記録している。
　現在サービス中のタイトルについて気になるところだが，同社の公式Twitter（該当のツイート）によると今回の株式売買契約に影響を受けず，これまでどおりサービスが続くとのことだ。
