［GDC 2024］「Baldur's Gate 3」がGDC AwardsのGOTYに！ IGFは「Venba」が最優秀賞を受賞。GDC Awards / IGF 2023のノミネート＆受賞作品まとめ

　アメリカ・サンフランシスコで開催中のゲーム開発者カンファレンス「2024 Game Developers Conference」（GDC 2024）。その3日目となる北米時間2024年3月20日，GDCのメインイベントの一つである「Game Developers Choice Awards」「Independent Games Festival Awards」が開催された。


　開発者やメディアなどゲーム関係者の投票で受賞作品が選ばれるGDC Awards，インディーゲームの祭典であるIGFのノミネート及び受賞作品をまとめてお届けしよう。

第24回 Game Developers Choice Awards

　今年で24回目となったGDC Awardsで話題となっているタイトルといえば，やはりThe Game Awards 2023やGolden Joystick Awards 2023といった多くのアワードで，Game of the Year（GOTY）を含む数々の受賞記録を持つ「Baldur's Gate 3」だろう。GDC Awardsでは7部門にノミネートされ，ここでもGOTYを獲得するかが大きな注目を集めた。

　そのほか，2023年の注目作の一つで「Baldur's Gate 3」と同じく7部門にノミネートされている「ゼルダの伝説　ティアーズ オブ ザ キングダム」，GOTYを含む5部門ノミネートのインディータイトル「COCOON」も気になるところであった。


　2024年度のGOTYを受賞したのは「Baldur's Gate 3」で，ほかにもBest Designなど全4部門を受賞。続いて「ゼルダの伝説 ティアーズ オブ ザ キングダム」「Venba」がそれぞれ2部門を受賞している。
