［TGS 2018］「Kingdom Come: Deliverance」は完全日本語版に。JRPG風の洋ゲーや高い評価を得たレースゲームなど，新作が次々に発表されたDMM GAMESのステージレポート

　DMM GAMESは2018年9月21日に，千葉県・幕張メッセで開催中の東京ゲームショウ2018（以下，TGS 2018）の同社ブースにおいて，新作タイトルの発表ステージを開催した。ステージでは，リアルな中世を再現したRPG「Kingdom Come: Deliverance」の日本語版に加え，「Battle Chasers: Nightwar」「Darksiders: Warmastered Edition」「Underworld Ascendant」，そして「Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition」のリリースがアナウンスされた。

「Kingdom Come: Deliverance」日本語版はフルボイスでPCとPS4，PS4 Proに対応

「Kingdom Come: Deliverance」を開発したWarhorse StudiosのPR Manager，Tobias Stolz-Zwilling氏

　まず，松本氏とStolz-Zwilling氏が「Kingdom Come: Deliverance」の紹介を行った。同作はチェコのWarhorse Studiosが開発し，2018年2月13日に発売された中世のボヘミア地方を舞台にしたRPGだ。ゲームに登場する武器や防具，建築物など，1403年のボヘミアにあったものをリアルに再現し，その一方でモンスターや魔法などのファンタジー要素はまったく存在しないことで話題を呼んだ。

　このたびDMM GAMESから発売されるのは，フルボイスの完全日本語版で，PC版とPlayStation 4版が用意され，PC版はDMM GAME PLAYER専用，PS4版はPS4Proにも対応しているとのことだった。
　松本氏は「海外で出ている最新のDLCまで，できるだけ積んだ形で出せればいいと思っています」と語っていた。発売日は「2019年春」と発表され，松本氏は「（テキストの）分量が多いので，まだ時間がかかりますが，魂を込めてローカライズしていますので，よろしくお願いします」と述べた。

　続いては川島氏が，DMM GAMESで新たにリリースされる「Battle Chasers: Nightwar」（海外では2017年に発売），「Darksiders: Warmastered Edition」（同2016年発売），「Underworld Ascendant」（同2018年発売）についての発表を行った。いずれも海外で話題になったタイトルなので，名前を聞いたことのある人も多いだろう。


　Battle Chasers: Nightwarは，1990年代のアメコミをオマージュしたターン制RPGで，JRPGを思わせるアニメ風のグラフィックスが特徴だ。
　Darksiders: Warmastered Editionは「ダークサイダーズ」の邦題で発売されたアクションゲームのリマスター版で，4K解像度に対応し，より美しい映像でゲームを楽しめるという。この2本は，「近日リリース予定」となっている。
　懐かしの「ウルティマ アンダーワールド」シリーズのクリエイター達が再集結して開発したRPGがUnderworld Ascendantで，こちらは「2018年秋」のリリースが予定されている。

　壇上に再び松本氏が登場し，「Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition」のプレゼンテーションを行った。同作は，美しいグラフィックスとリアルな車の挙動が特徴となるレースゲームで，前作「Assetto Corsa」が2014年にリリースされたあともAIや機能面のアップデートが続けられ，加えて，リリースされたさまざまなDLCを同梱した完全版がUltimate Editionとなる。

　予定されているのはPC向けの日本語版で，車の説明やキャリアモードのストーリーなどが日本語化されるという。松本氏は，いくつかのMODを導入した状態の同作をステージに持ち込み「MODなどの拡張性もPC版の魅力。車の挙動の再現とレンダリングにCPUとGPUのパワーを振り向けているゲームなので，PCのパワーを十分に活かせる」とPC版のメリットを強調した。


　松本氏はフェラーリばかりを集めたレースを披露し，わざとスタートを遅らせて自分にハンディキャップを課したにも関わらず，敵車をごぼう抜きして1位でゴールインしてみせた。「本作はすべてのDLCが入ったお得なバージョンです。“Start your PC”ということで，最近ゲームを遊んでいないという人は，ぜひPCゲームに戻ってください」と熱いエールを送り，ステージを締めくくった。
