本日から「Steam Game Festival Summer Edition」がスタート。多数の開発者がゲームの実況や無料デモの公開を実施

　Valveが運営するゲーム配信サービス「Steam」で，デジタルイベント「Steam Game Festival Summer Edition」がスタートした。イベント期間は日本時間の2020年6月23日までで，さまざまな地域の開発者達が自らのゲームを披露する実況配信を行うと共に，現段階で200近くの無料デモを公開している。

　東京ゲームショウやPAXなどのイベントに参加した人には分かりやすいかもしれないが，このイベントは，ゲームの開発者がブースで自分達の作品を解説をしているのを聞いているといった雰囲気だ。物理的なイベントが中止や延期される中，発表の場を失ったインディーズゲーム開発者にとって嬉しいデジタルイベントと言えるだろう。

　デモは，「Rustler」や「Builders of Egypt」のように以前から公開されているものや，「Iron Harvest」や「RAWMEN」，そして「Hello Guest」など，すでに記事でお伝えしたものもあるが，基本的には，ここ数日間に実施されているさまざまなデジタルイベントで発表された新作ゲームのデモ版が多いという印象だ。すでに紹介した作品を中心に，オススメのゲームを以下に並べてみたので，参考にしてほしい。
