崩れた道路や洪水に埋もれる悪路すら進むトラックシミュレータ「Road Kings」，2027年3月11日に発売決定

　Focus Entertainmentは2026年8月26日，Saber Interactiveが開発中の新作タイトル「Road Kings」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）を，2027年3月11日にリリースすると発表した。


　本作は，アメリカ南部沿岸の平原を舞台に，40トンのセミトレーラーを運転してさまざまな仕事をこなしていく，トラックシミュレーションゲームだ。プレイヤーはルーキードライバーとして仕事を始め，手強いライバルや親切な協力者との出会いを通して，やり手のトラックオーナーとしての名声を勝ち取っていく。


　重量やタイヤの状態といったトラックのコンディションはもちろん，天候や路面などさまざまな要素が走行に影響を与えるとのことで，忠実に再現された実在のトラックに乗り込む次世代のシミュレーションを楽しめるという。


　本作を開発するSaber Interactiveは，「MudRunner」や「SnowRunner」など，オフロードを舞台とした無骨なドライブシムに定評のあるチームだ。トレイラーには，災害によって崩れたり，洪水に埋もれたりしている悪路を走る様子も収録されており，それらのゲームが好きな人には期待できそうな作品だ。
