ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントは本日（2023年2月7日），ベースボールシミュレーションゲーム「MLB The Show 23」（英語版）のPS5/PS4版を，日本国内に向けて3月28日に発売すると発表し，予約受付を開始した。価格はPS5版のスタンダードエディションが7980円，PS4版のスタンダードエディションは6980円，PS5/PS4向けデジタルデラックスエディション（ダウンロード版）は1万980円（すべて税込）。
『MLB The Show 23』（英語版）は、誰でもメジャーリーガー体験ができる「TheShow」シリーズの最新作。お気に入りの選手、お気に入りのライバル、そしてお気に入りのMLB的瞬間を織り交ぜたドリームマッチをプレイして、大球場で野球をプレイするという夢の体験を、かつてないリアリティと没入感でお楽しみ頂けます。 （※本作は北米版と同一の内容となり、ゲーム内の表記・音声はすべて英語となります。また、ゲーム内通貨の購入は行えません）
