　MIO: Memories in Orbitは，機械の暴走によって崩壊し，いたるところに植物が繁茂する巨大宇宙船「VESSEL」が舞台の探索型アクションゲームだ。プレイヤーは，そんな船内で目覚めた高性能ロボット「MIO」となり，世界から忘れ去られた宇宙船の真実を解き明かす旅に出ることになる。


　宇宙船に存在するロボットはMIOだけでなく，さまざまなロボットたちが壊れかけで生き残っている。彼らを修理し，助けながら先に進むことで，新たな力を得られると同時に，宇宙船の過去が明らかになっていくのだ。

　最大の注目ポイントは，水彩画を思わせる美しいアートスタイルだろう。崩壊した宇宙船という閉鎖的な舞台ながら，世界は植物に満ち，明るさと奇妙さを併せ持った姿を見せてくれる。NPCたちのデザインも独特で，どこか異世界に迷い込んだかのような雰囲気を楽しめる。
