「eFootball」に関するFAQが海外向け公式Twitterアカウントで公開。クロスプレイや選手獲得などさまざまな質問に回答

　KONAMIは2021年8月2日，2021年秋に発売を予定している新作サッカーゲーム「eFootball」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X / PS4 / Xbox One / iOS / Android）についてのFAQを，海外向けeFootball公式Twitterアカウント（リンク）で公開した。

　「次の大きな発表に先立ち，よくある質問に簡単にお答えします」として，ファンから寄せられたさまざまな質問に回答している。


　開発状況については，対応するプラットフォームのハードウェア性能を最大限に活用するように開発されており，コンソール機を先行して行われている。すべてのプラットフォーム間でのクロスプレイに対応する予定で，オンラインプレイではプラットフォームや対戦相手の居住地域などを設定できるフィルターが用意されるという。


　選手獲得については，「ウイニングイレブン」シリーズでは“くじ引き”要素が強かったが，eFootballでは「マッチパス」を使って好きな選手を指名して獲得できるようになるようだ。また，選手名や能力，ユニフォームなどさまざまな要素をカスタマイズできる「エディットモード」，チームや選手のパラメータが格納される「オプションファイル」については，PC/PS5/PS4向けにリリース後に無料アップデートにて提供されるとのことだ。


　ほかにも，eFootballをできるだけ早くeFootballで遊んでもらいたいため，収録チームやゲームモードを限定してリリースされることや，基本プレイ無料（アイテム課金制）となっているが，ローンチ直後は課金要素は実装されず，段階的に有料コンテンツなどが追加されていくことが明らかにされている。
