Microsoft，「Summer Game Fest」でXbox One向けデモイベントの開催を発表

　Microsoftは北米時間の2020年7月1日，Xboxフランチャイズのオフィシャルサイト「Xbox Wire」をアップデートし，多数のXbox One向けのデモを用意した期間限定のイベントを開催すると発表した。イベント期間は北米時間の7月21日から27日までで，時間は発表されていない。

　これは，8月まで行われるデジタルイベント「Summer Game Fest」の一環として実施されるもので，E3やPAX，gamescomなどのゲームショウに参加した人なら知っているであろう，たくさんのゲームを早い段階で体験して，お気に入りの作品を発見する喜びを再現することが目的だという。
　記事には，「知っておいてほしいこと」として，通常のゲームデモは完成またはほぼ完成した段階で作られるものだが，今回のデモは開発途中で作られており，内容などが大きく変わる可能性があること，また，一部のデモは再掲載される可能性があるものの，基本的に1週間で消えること，そして，プレイの感想を教えてほしいことが挙げられている。

　Xboxダッシュボードに1週間に限って登場するのは60作品以上で，たぶん75作品から100作品の間に落ち着くであろうとのこと。詳細リストは7月21日に発表される予定だが，「Xbox Wire」には，主だったものとして以下のタイトルが掲載されている。
