無数に襲い来るバグたちをあらゆる兵器で殲滅せよ！ 「スターシップ・トゥルーパーズ：アルティメット・バグ・ウォー！」，本日リリース

　Game Source Entertainmentは本日（2026年3月17日），Auroch Digitalが開発する新作タイトル「スターシップ・トゥルーパーズ：アルティメット・バグ・ウォー！」をSteamでリリースした。価格は2800円（税込）で，3月24日までリリース記念として20％オフのセールを実施している。


　本作は，1997年に公開されたSF映画「スターシップ・トゥルーパーズ」を題材としたアクションFPSだ。映画から25年後の世界を舞台としており，第一次バグ戦争で機動歩兵隊たちが「アサシンバグ」と戦う姿が描かれる。懐かしい雰囲気をまとうローポリ風のグラフィックスで，大量に出現するアラクニドとの戦いを楽しめる。


　また，バグのことをより理解するためのモード「バグモード」も用意されており，アラクニドとして兵士たちに襲いかかる体験も味わえる。

　発売に合わせて公開されたローンチトレイラーにて，無数に襲いかかるバグたちをさまざまな兵器で撃退する戦闘シーンや，レトロ3Dゲーム風のエフェクトやモーションなどを確認できるので，チェックしておこう。


　なお，PlayStation 5 / Nintendo Switch 2版もリリースされているが，現時点では海外向けのみの販売となっている。
