「LOTRO Lorebook」にて，LotRO版グーグルマップが公開に

　「The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar」（邦題 ロード・オブ・ザ・リングス・オンライン アングマールの影，以下LotRO）のWiki「LOTRO Lorebook」内に，「LOTRO Google Maps」というコンテンツが公開されている。

　LOTRO Lorebookは，LotROのありとあらゆるデータが蓄積された，Wikiタイプの情報サイトだ。英語版のサイトではあるが，LotROに関する膨大な情報が掲載されているので，たまにチェックしているという日本人プレイヤーも多いのではないだろうか。
　そのLOTRO Lorebook内に新しく導入されたLOTRO Google Mapsは，説明するまでもないだろうが，LotRO版のGoogleマップともいうべきコンテンツである。マップのエディット（標示物の設置やルートの設定など）も可能なようで，現在LOTRO Lorebook内には，「Frodo’s Path to Rivendell」（フロド達が裂け谷を目指した際に進んだルート）というマップが掲載されている。
　なお，LOTRO Google Mapsと同種のコンテンツは，以前から複数存在している。Googleマップのシステムを通じて中つ国を眺めてみたいという人は，アレコレ探してみるといいだろう。（大路政志）
