［Mac］AoE III用拡張パック第2弾「The Asian Dynasties」のMac版発表

　MacSoftは，RTSの人気作「Microsoft Age of Empires III」（以下，AoE III）の拡張パック第2弾，「Microsoft Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties」のMacintosh版（英語版）を，2008年7月に発売する。
　発表文によると，AoE III本体同様，Universal Binary形式のアプリケーションとしてリリースされるため，PowerPC G4/G5やIntel製CPUを搭載したMacでネイティブに動作する。当然ながら，プレイするにはAoE III本体が必要となるので，ご注意を。

　The Asian Dynastiesは，日本，インド，中国の3か国をAoE III本体に追加する拡張パック。その3か国にヨーロッパの8か国を加えた計11の国々が，アジア大陸を舞台に勢力争いを繰り広げるという内容だ。

　拡張パック第1弾となる「Microsoft Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs」は，海外で約1年前の2007年6月に発売済み。The Asian Dynastiesについても発売を心待ちにしていた人にとって，今回の発表は喜ばしいニュースだろう。
