　エレクトロニック・アーツから本日（10月23日），シリーズ最新作「NBAライブ09」が発売された。対応機種は，Xbox 360，PLAYSTATION 3，プレイステーション 2，PSPの4機種で，価格はPS3版が7329円，Xbox 360/PS2版が7140円，PSP版が5040円（いずれも税込）となっている。


　Xbox 360版とPS3版では，20以上のNBAチームのデータを分析/提供する統計プロバイダであるSynergy Sports Technology（シナジー・スポーツ・テクノロジー）により実現可能となった「NBA LIVE 365」機能を使い，NBAのシーズン中に常に最新の選手データが更新される。また，過去2年間のデータから，5000万件以上のデータ入力も行われているなど，その徹底ぶりには驚かされる。NBAファンには，まさに必携の一本といえそうだ。ゲームについてのさらに詳しい情報は，本作の公式サイトでチェックしておこう。
