「Fallout 3」が大人気。発売から1週間で470万本を出荷

　近未来の荒廃した世界を描いたRPG「Fallout 3」が，発売から1週間で470万本を出荷するという大ヒットとなっている。


　Fallout 3は，「The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion」を開発したBethesda Softworksが手がけているということもあり，発売前から話題になっていたタイトルだ。
　10月28日の発売日には，全米各地のゲーム小売店で深夜0時から販売が行われ，イギリスでは発売と同時にPC，Xbox 360，PLAYSTATION 3の各プラットフォームにおける，No.1セールスを記録するなど，欧米では前評判通りの人気を集めている。

　そんな本作の日本語版は，Xbox 360版が2008年12月4日，PLAYSTATION 3版が2009年1月15日に発売される予定だ。
