SEGA，未発売作を含む同社タイトルをSteamで配信すると発表

　ゲームのCD/DVDをすぐにどっかへやってしまい，キーコードが書かかれた紙をなくしやすい筆者は，Valveのデジタル配信システム“Steam”の愛好者である。ときどき対応が遅いことがあるが，勝手にアップデートしてくれるしパッチも当ててくれるしで，便利である。
　そんなSteamだが，アメリカ時間の11月28日，SEGA of Americaは同社のタイトルのうちいくつかをSteamによって配信することでValveと合意したと発表した。ラインナップには，地球を舞台にエイリアンが暴れ回るRTS「Universe at War: Earth Assault」や，映画をベースにしたアクションアドベンチャー「The Golden Compass」，など，未発売のものも含まれている。すでに発売されたタイトルとしては，Medieval II: Total WarシリーズやRome: Total Warシリーズ，そしてラリーゲームの定番「Sega Rally Revo」や「OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast」も魅力的。詳しくは公式サイトの告知ページをどうぞ。
