「LotRO」，9月27日予定だった第十巻「王の都」アップデートが延期に

　MMORPG「ロード・オブ・ザ・リングス・オンライン アングマールの影」で，9月27日に予定されていた第十巻「王の都」のアップデートが延期された。

　これは，同アップデートがすでに適応済みの米国サーバーで，アイテム消失などの問題が確認されたことによるもの。このアップデートによって，日本でも同じ現象が起こる可能性があるため，急きょこれに対応する修正作業を行っているが，安全のため今回の実施を延期したとのことだ。

　アイテム消失などは，プレイヤーのモチベーションを大きく損なう可能性があり，導入直前に発覚したことは，日本のプレイヤーにとっては幸いだったと言えるだろう。金庫の増設を心待ちにしていたプレイヤーも，肝心のアイテムが消失してしまっては，元も子もない。新しいアップデートの日程などの詳細はまだ発表されていないが，後日，公式サイトで公開されるとのことなので，続報に注意しよう。
