さくらインターネット，「DDO」「LotRO」の日本語版サービスを9月30日に終了

　さくらインターネットは本日（6月30日），運営中のオンラインRPG「ダンジョンズ＆ドラゴンズオンライン：ストームリーチ」（以下，DDO）とMMORPG「ロード・オブ・ザ・リングス・オンラインアングマールの影」（以下，LotRO）の日本語版サービスを，9月30日を持って終了すると公式サイトで発表した。

　これに伴い本日，6か月/12か月分のプレイチケットの販売が終了となる。サービス終了までのスケジュールとしては，7月31日にプレイチケット販売とプロダクトキー登録が終了となるほか，払い戻しの申請と無料期間が開始される。これらはDDO，LotRO共通のスケジュールだ。

　なお，アカウント有効期限日が2009年8月1日以降分まで消費されずに残った日数分については，払い戻されるとのこと。さくらアカウントの場合は，銀行振り込みによる払い戻しになり，Lievoアカウントの場合は，Lievoコインによる払い戻しになる。
　払い戻しの確認方法や申請方法の詳細については，後日公式サイトで公開されるので，対象となるプレイヤーは7月31日の払い戻し申請の受付開始時に情報を確認しておこう。

　このほか，サービス終了に関する情報については，各公式サイトの告知ページで詳細を確認してほしい。
