「Legends of Norrath」単体版がリリース＆「EQ2」アップデート情報

　MMORPG「EverQuest」または「EverQuest II」のプレイヤーを対象とした，ゲームインゲームとして登場したオンラインカードゲーム「Legends of Norrath: Oathbound」は，9月6日に正式サービスが開始されている（関連記事）。
　そのLegends of Norrathで，EQ/EQ2のプレイヤーでなくても遊べるスタンドアロン版のサービスが，米国時間の9月13日に開始された。

　ゲームのクライアントが公式サイトで公開されており，チュートリアルなどの要素を無料で体験できる。ただし本作をプレイするには，「Station.com」の会員登録（無料）を行う必要があるので，ご注意を。
　また，55枚のカードで構成された「Digital Starter Deck」（4種類）が各9.99ドル，カード15枚からなる「Oathbound 15-card Digital Booster Pack」が2.99ドル，そして36のDigital Booster Packをセットにした「Oathbound Digital Booster Box」が99.99ドルで販売されている。

　このゲームに関心を持っているが，EQ/EQ2のプレイヤーではないため遊べずにいたという人は，ぜひ体験してみよう。
　なお，ゲーム自体は英語版であり，表示されるメッセージは英語のみとなっている。

　またEverQuest IIのゲームアップデート38が，米国時間の9月13日に実装されている。今回のアップデートの主な変更点は，以下のとおり。

■「二刀流」指定の廃止
■Bristlebaneの復活
■インベントリ画面に「外見スロット」を追加（レベル20以上で使用可能に）
■「アンレストの館」を継続クエストに
