「Warhammer Online」，攻城戦についての詳細が発表に

　EA Mythicが開発中のファンタジーMMORPG「Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning」の英語版公式サイトで，レルム戦闘（RvR）の華ともいうべき攻城戦についての詳細が公開された。

　“WAR Systems - Keeps and Sieges Explained”と題された特集では，攻城戦のカギとなる城の外観が，それを保有している種族によって変わることや，城にはKeep Lordとそれを護る4人のガードがおり，城を落とすにはこのKeep Lordを倒さねばならないこと，攻城戦用兵器には4タイプで6種類が用意されており，使用するには特定の場所で組み立てねばならないことなどが，多数のスクリーンショットと共に掲載されている。
　攻城戦は，Warhammer OnlineにおけるRvRで最も激烈な戦いとなることが予想されるだけに，本作をプレイしようと考えている人は本特集に目を通しておこう。

　なお公式サイトで発表されている，βアカウント登録者の数が60万人を超えた。50万人を突破したのが2007年12月中旬だったので，それから2か月ほどでさらに10万人程度が増えたこととなる。世界中のゲーマーの，本作への期待度が分かるというものだろう。
