エアコンバットゲーム「H.A.W.X.2」の発売日が2010年10月7日に決定。本日公開の最新トレイラーを4Gamerに掲載

　ユービーアイソフトは本日（7月29日），エアコンバットゲーム「H.A.W.X.2」をPlayStation 3およびXbox 360向けに，2010年10月7日に発売すると発表した。価格は7329円（税込）。合わせて本日，同作の新作トレイラームービーが公開されている。


　「H.A.W.X.2」は，米国の軍事小説作家トム・クランシーの名を冠するエアコンバットゲームシリーズの最新作だ。最新鋭の戦闘機によるドッグファイトが楽しめるのはもちろん，“トム・クランシーシリーズ”らしく，現実に即した兵器の機能やデザインなどが大きな特徴となっている。今作ではマップにGeoEye社の衛星画像が使用されるなど，前作と比べて大幅に世界の再現性が高まっているというから，期待せずにはいられない。


　本日は，その嬉しい発売日決定の一報と共に，最新のトレイラームービーも公開されている。1分半ほどのムービーでは，最新戦闘機によるドッグファイトや爆撃の様子，また戦闘中に友軍同士で交わされる無線通信の内容などがチェックできる。
　発売はまだ少し先なので，ムービーなどを観て雰囲気を感じ取りつつ，“米軍の次期主力戦闘機F-35にも搭乗できる”など楽しみな本作を期待して待とう。
