「バトルフィールド：バッドカンパニー」，四つのコンクエストマップを無料配信開始

　エレクトロニック・アーツは本日（10月30日），「バトルフィールド：バッドカンパニー」（Xbox 360/PLAYSTATION 3）の「コミュニティー・チョイス マップパック」をXbox 360/PLAYSTATION 3向けにそれぞれ無料で配信を開始した。このパックには，新しいマルチプレイヤーモード用コンクエストマップ四つのほか，ゲームプレイの仕様改良が含まれる。また，PLAYSTATION 3版ではPLAYSTATION 3トロフィー機能に対応する。


　「バトルフィールド：バッドカンパニー」は，スウェーデンに本拠を置くDICEによって開発されており，Xbox 360/PLAYSTATION 3版が発売されている。プレイヤーは，最も危険な部隊に配属されてしまった新米兵士プレストン・マーロウとなり，トラブルメーカーのレッドフォード軍曹，ハガード，スウィートウォーターと共にさまざまな困難に立ち向かうというストーリーだ。

　今回のパックに入っているマップのチョイスは，以前「バトルフィールドコミュニティー」で行った「どのシングルプレイヤーモードのマップをコンクエストモードでプレイしたいか？」という人気投票の結果で選出されたものだ。投票で選ばれた2マップ（「Par for the Course」「Acta Non Verba」），および投票3位の「Ghost Town」，投票4位の「Crossing Over」がバッドカンパニー開発チームの推薦マップとして選ばれた。
