「The Lord of the Rings：Conquest」，PC向けデモ版はリリース予定なし
指輪物語の世界で，正義と悪の両方を体験できるアクションゲーム「The Lord of the Rings: Conquest」において，PC向けのデモ版リリースの予定がないことが明らかとなった。
海外ゲーム情報サイトのBigDownloadによると，開発元Pandemic Studiosに問い合わせたところ，同社の広報担当より得た答えが，PC向けのデモ版のリリース予定はないというもので，その理由について回答は得られなかったようだ。
Xbox 360とPLAYSTATION 3向けには，すでにマルチプレイ用デモ版がリリースされているので，PC向けにもリリースされるのではないかという期待があったのだが，PCゲーマーには残念な結果となってしまった。
なお本作は，日本語マニュアル付き英語版として，2009年1月22日にEA Expressより発売される（関連記事）。
