［Mac］Mac版「CoD 4：Modern Warfare」，北米発売日が決定

　ゲームパブリッシャのAspyr Mediaは，ミリタリーFPS「Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare」のMacintosh版を，北米地域で2008年9月15日に発売すると発表した。1月の発表（関連記事）以来，リリースを心待ちにしていたMacゲーマーにとって喜ばしいニュースだろう。
　本作では，第二次世界大戦を題材としたシリーズ前作までとうって変わり，ハイテク兵器を駆使して戦う現代戦FPSへと路線変更している。ゲーム内容については，以前掲載したWindows版のレビュー記事が参考になるので，ぜひ目を通してほしい。

　なお，Macへの移植を行ったのは，「Call of Duty 2」「Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell」といったタイトルのMac版を手がけた実績を持つデベロッパ，i5Worksだ。
