［Mac］TransGaming，複数のUbisoft製タイトルをMacへ移植
TransGaming Technologiesは，Ubisoft Entertainmentが発売している複数のWindows用タイトルをMacintoshへ移植し，Mac用ゲーム専門ダウンロード販売サイト「GameTree Online」で販売すると発表した。
TransGamingは，Windows，Mac，Linuxなどといったプラットフォーム間でのゲームの移植テクノロジーなどを開発しているメーカーだ。同社の「Cider」技術を用いて移植されたゲームは，Intel Mac上で，元になっているWindows版と同様に動作するとされている（PowerPC搭載Macでは動作しない）。
TransGamingがMac版を開発する，Ubisoft製タイトル第1弾となるのは，バーチャルペット飼育ゲーム「Petz Dogz 2」「Petz Catz 2」の2本で，GameTree Onlineで近日中に発売される予定。そのほか，科学捜査官の活躍を描くテレビドラマをベースとしたアドベンチャー，「CSI: Hard Evidence」も移植タイトルとして名前が挙がっている。また秋には，Windows版とMac版が同時にリリースされるタイトルも用意される模様だ。
