Ubisoftが決算報告レポートを公開。「Splinter Cell: Conviction」の販売実績は190万本，「Driver: SanFrancisco」は年末を避け2011年初頭発売に

　Ubisoft Entertainmentが，6月30日で終了した2010年第1四半期の決算を発表した。アメリカ時間の7月13日付けのプレスリリースでは，売り上げは1億6000万ユーロ（約180億円）と，前年の同期比で93％アップする好成績を収めており，当初の予想を大幅に上回る結果になったという。
　この売り上げに貢献したのが，2月にリリースされた「Splinter Cell: Conviction」（PC/Xbox 360）で，世界で190万本を販売するヒット作になっている。また，「Assassin’s Creed II」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）や「Just Dance」，そして「Avatar: The Video Game」(PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/Wii/PSP/DS）といった2009年発売のタイトルも，着実な販売を達成したとのこと。

　7月1日から9月30日までの第2四半期には，「Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/Wii）や「R.U.S.E.」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）といった渋めのソフトがリリースされる予定になっており，その後「Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360），「Just Dance 2」（Wii）といった人気作の続編に加え，PlayStation MoveやMicrosoft Kinectに対応した「Michael Jackson: The Experience」(PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/Wii/PSP/DS），「Your Shape: Fitness Evolved」（Xbox 360）など，期待できそうな新作が続いている。

　ただ，2010年秋が予定されていたオープンワールドのドライビングアクション「Driver: San Francisco」(PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360/Wii）は，年末の激戦を避けて第4四半期（2011年1月〜3月）へリリースが延期されることになった。
