ヴィン・ディーゼル主演映画が原作の「WHEELMAN」，北米発売日が決定

　ゲームパブリッシャのMidway Gamesは，ハリウッド俳優のヴィン・ディーゼルが主演のアクション映画「The Wheelman」のゲーム版，「WHEELMAN」を，北米地域で2009年2月20日に発売すると発表した。対応プラットフォームはPC，Xbox 360，PLAYSTATION 3の三つ。

　プレイヤーは映画でヴィン・ディーゼルが演じている，金を貰って犯罪者を逃がすプロの“逃がし屋”となって，さまざまなミッションをこなしていく。逃走時に使用するのは車で，映画さながらのカーチェイスが存分に楽しめるアクションゲームとなっている。
　ゲームの開発には，ヴィン・ディーゼル自身もプロデューサーとして関わっているという力の入れようで，本人にそっくりなゲームの主人公を含め，かなり期待できそうだ。

　ゲームの公式サイトでは，ムービートレイラーやスクリーンショットが公開されている。
