「GTA IV」との互換性を向上させた「GeForce Driver 180.84 Beta」が公開

　NVIDIAの運営するゲーマー向け情報＆コミュニティサイト「nZone」に，「Grand Theft Auto IV」（以下，GTA IV）へ最適化済みという英語版公式βドライバ「GeForce Driver 180.84 Beta」がアップロードされた。対応OSはWindows XPおよび32/64bit版Windows Vista。下に示すリンク先からダウンロード可能だ。

　2008年12月8日時点で，nZoneにこれ以上の情報はないのだが，NVIDIAから4Gamerへ寄せられたメールによると，GTA IVのほかにも，いくつかのゲームタイトルで互換性やパフォーマンスが向上しているとのこと。北米時間の火曜日（※日本時間9日深夜）には，詳細情報といっしょに，日本語を含む他言語版も入手可能になるという。
　メールの和訳と原文を下に示すので，該当するタイトルのプレイを始めた人で，英語版ドライバでもOKという人は，自己責任で試すと幸せになれるかもしれない。そのほかのGeForceユーザーは，9日深夜をお楽しみに。
