「Duke Nukem Forever」のDLC第1弾，「Parody Pack」が11月中に登場。Freeze Tagモードなど新要素が目白押し

　Gearbox Softwareは，「Duke Nukem Forever」（PC/PS3/Xbox 360）の拡張パック第1弾「Parody Pack」を，2011年11月中に発売すると発表した。

　本拡張パックは，欧米での予約購入者などを対象としたFirst Access Clubに入会しているプレイヤーには無料で配布される予定で，PlayStation NetworkとSteam（PC）では9.99ドル，Xbox Liveでは800マイクロソフトポイントという価格で販売される予定だ。


　Parody Packを導入することで，相手を連続して凍らせていくとより高いポイントが得られる「Freeze Tag」，長い間ベイブを担いでいたプレイヤーが勝つ「Hot Potato」，そしてFree-For-All型のクラシカルなデスマッチである「Hail to the King」という，3つのマルチプレイモードを遊べるようになる。
　また，マルチプレイモード用のマップとして，内戦で崩壊した都市部で戦える「Call of Duke」が用意されるなど，タイトルどおりパロディ要素が盛り込まれている。バカバカしさがDuke Nukem Foreverのウリだけに，一風変わったDLCになるようだ。

　日本では，本体自体の発売時期が「未定」となっているので，本拡張パックが配信されるかどうかもはっきりしていない。日本語版を発売するTake-Two Interactive Japanからの続報を待ちたいところだ。
