「Age of Empires」のEnsemble Studiosに閉鎖の噂
「Age of Empires」やAge of Mythologyなど，人気のRTSを開発してきたゲームデベロッパのEnsemble Studiosが閉鎖されるのではないかという噂が広まっている。
ゲーム情報サイトのShacknewsによれば，複数の情報筋からEnsemble Studiosが閉鎖されるという情報が入ってきているようで，現在開発中のXbox 360用RTS「Halo Wars」の開発チームも解雇の対象になっているようだ。
現在のところ正式な発表などはされていないため，あくまでも噂の域を出ないニュースだが，歴史RTSを代表するAge of Empiresシリーズの開発を行ってきたデベロッパがなくなってしまうとなれば，RTSファンには大きな衝撃となるだろう。
